- Ricardo is forty-five years old and arrived in Spain from Brazil seventeen years ago. He has worked as a construction laborer, gardener, kitchen cleaner, and in various temporary jobs. An injury at La Sopa homeless shelter, combined with not having legal documents, has made it difficult for him to find work. He has been living on the streets since 2006. He left his country, leaving behind his wife and two children. He has been waiting for residency papers for a long time, but the system does not seem to prioritize his case. Instead of photographing him, this project will feature photos taken by him, as he does not like being photographed.
